Westport Electric Car Club
Last night was the beginning of the new Westport Electric Car Club. This club was started about six months ago and was held to a very small group of founders centered around building Leo's Lectric Car. For this new beginning we decided to go public and invite a broader following. This was done at the urging of Steve Smith who said that Leo's club finally came out of the closet. There were 19 enthusiasts who came and represented a broad group of electric car enthusiasts. More to follow..............

It's been an interesting 3 1/2 years for the club. The club's membership has steadily grown. The introduction of the very first electric vehicle rally in Connecticut last year was very well received by the public. This year we are planing the second. The latest success story that our club experienced was that a week ago our host web servicer was so swamped with hits that he had to shut us off. We now have a new web host and are back on the cloud. Hopefull we have a more robust arrangement for our web site. Soon we will be redesigning it to be more user friendly. Stay tuned.....................
